Or thats atleast what the PO thought. He sprayed everything under the truck black without bothering to clean any of it. I did a disk brake conversion this weekend and every bolt I touched had red dirt under black paint. Fun times. The conversion took more than a few hours but went well and works much better than the original drums.

I was happy with the red dirt on my '55...it turned to adobe and kept the truck from rusting...

Had to chisel it off, though...
