My f.i.c.m. drives are about shot I 'm wondering if I can use a used f.i.c.m. On cold starts it is terrible I plug it in it would start better but it seems to be getting harder & harder to start. can I use a used f.i.c.m. & would it have to be reprogramed to my truck also where could i find one also ford said if i could find a refurbised one only ford can program it is this true

You can use a refurb. or used FICM. Techs on here have stated its a little better to have the replacement FICM "married" to the PCM in the truck by Ford.
But it will work just fine if you use a used FICM and see if you have rectified your situation.
