What type of truck would you recommend...
It is time to think about a new truck... I live on a farm, like hunting, fishing and working hard. Check out my pictures of my current truck and can you let me know if a Ford and what type would be able to do it.
Pictures are on this link:
Who is Toyota
I need help convincing my Husband a Ford Truck is the way to go
Thank you for your help.

If you are headed towards Ford, I wouldn't think you'd need more than an F150 to handle what you were doing with the Toyota. I'm not Toyota bashing because I know they are nice trucks too. But if you are trying to get a comparable truck, I would think F150 would get'r done.
Now if you're looking to upgrade capacity, I would go for an F250. You basically get the same truck as the F350, but it is cheaper to own. My F350 has a higher license plate fee as well as a twice a year mandatory safety inspection. You might be able to get a "farm" exemption, but it depends on your area.
Other than that, I went with a gas engine strictly because it doesn't get used often enough to keep a diesel happy and healthy. If I put more miles on mine I would have given more consideration to diesel.
