HUGE fan of white letter tires. I agree that blackwalls look cheap. When I was a kid, if your car had blackwall tires, it was because you could not afford the optional whitewalls. You probably had "poverty" hubcaps, too.
BFG has the best looking white letters in the biz, btw. I have them on my truck.

Really depends on the truck and if you keep them clean.
I hate seeing dirty *** white lettering on tires.
On my 86 I had both sets white out and it looked great.
On the Lightning my first set were white out and I didn't like it. Now my Falkens don't have white lettering and it looks much better.

Im still on the fence between white and black wall.
I know what you guys mean and I agree that BFGs have the best looking white letters around. I just think that I don't have the name of the manufacturer plastered on other items. I removed the labels from the low profile bug gaurd and the tool box etc, to give it a clean look. I guess thats really the only reason I'm thinking about it, is that it would look cleaner with less clutter.
Lew, The front tag was only for pictures. I agree, its not the best. It has a regular plate on it all the time.
I like this tag better, since it looks like its new from the dealer. I'd love to not run a front plate at all, but that doesn't fly around here.

You already know I like the white letters out, and it sounds like your opinion on logos and brand names on your vehicle is the same as mine.
I (personally) really done like those windshield visors you see that that way FORD or whatever brand. The PO of my truck put a friggin blue oval on the tailgail, must have not liked the location, pried it off and stuck it on again. Left a damn ring and a dent from prying it off.
The reason I put the white letters out, is because they look like crap when they are dirty and look great when they are clean. It's motivates me to clean the truck more often, and a clean set of white letters screams "I put time into keeping my truck nice."
sporting the bfg name... just a casualty of war.
