2002 f250 superduty back up sensor/alarm

Backed my 250 into a wall today. now the back up alarm stays on when in reverse. The dash switch can switch it off and on. but it still stays on solid in reverse as if there is something there, doesnt even beep. none of the sensors were hit and they all make the clicking noise when igntion is on and in reverse w/o engine running. Left side of bumper from center of bumper is not in line with the right side..do all of the sensors have to be in a straight line. help

You must have damaged one of the sensors, clicking just means it is "looking" for an obstruction.

No the sensors are independent of each other, but return the signal to the PAM on the distance. If you have AE or access to it, you can see which one is giving you the problem.

hate to be a tard but whats an AE, its been while 15 years since the auto trade. also whats the likley hood of damage to more than one sensor if none of the sensors took a direct hit. they are 96 bucks a pop unless they make aftermarket ones.
