Maverick, Some states have outlawed the true split rims. The split rim has a very small lip to engage. The lock rings generally have a considerably larger lip that locks much better. If you have to buy wheels one piece is certainly better. Show the wife what some Alcoas would run. Then some steel salvage yard wheels will be a deal ! When you go to remove these if they're stuck on the hub deflate them before grabbing the big hammer.

just curious as to why your replacing your cornbinder? the 52s are pretty good looking and the engines are pretty sturdy. Dont get me wrong the ford is pretty sweet too, just wondering if something was wrong with your internatinal
