Just figured I would start this to keep track as a do my first engine swap, a 429 in place of a blown 460 in my '79 swap. I have gotten a lot done, just not that many pictures yet.

Bought the truck for $650 because the engine was loosing coolant. After some investigating, I decided that it was shot, and it needed to be replaced. After months of searching, I came across a engine on craigslist.

429 with cobra jet heads, set up as a generator.



Runs like a champ, but I have to replace the intake, carb, cam, and water pump.
