Specs needed

Ok guys my parts come in tomorrow and its finaly time to put this 390 together!!!! I am short however of an accurate spec book so I was wondering if anyone out there has the specs I need for the entire rebuild? Im talking the rods, mains, I even need the bearing clearances (for plastigauge). I also need any pointers or sugestions you guys have for me...

Thanks for the help! I know the people here will do more than just come through.

Specs needed

Buying a manual yourself would be a better idea as there is 4 pages covering clearences etc. in my ford shop manual, and alota stuff about how it goes together.


The national hot rod association's site has a good pile of spec's.

I'm bored not having to work at all, but not that bored

Specs needed

Get the book called, "How to Rebuild Big Block Fords" by Steve Christ. I bought it just for general knowledge but feel very confident that if I wanted to rebuild a 390, I would have no problem.
