Where is the footrest?

I have a 2005 F250 Lariat, Why doesn't my truck have a footrest? Is anyone else annoyed by this? I want to put one in my truck, looking for ideas.

Thanks!

There's a bracket behind the parking brake on my truck that I can conveniently rest my foot on, leaving the whole floor open without having a dead pedal taking up the corner.

I had the foot rest (dead pedal) on my F-150 and thought I would miss it in my F-250, but I like having more room on the floor.

Just my .02

My floor is large enough that I can always find a spot for my left foot.

Thanks!
Annoys me as well. I don't have the adjustable pedals, so when my seat is back far enough so the steering wheel is comfortable, my left foot dangles in space.

I honestly didn't know they existed until i drove my brothers car while my truck was in the shop. For me since I'm tall i use that same e brake bracket mentioned earlier but other than that i usually rest it up against the firewall practically. would be nice though to keep my foot farther back I would probably sit straighter and not slouch lol. RBP sells a floor mat with a dead pedal but its expensive.

Edit: Just checked RBP's website and i guess they might not sell it anymore i cannot find it.

Here is what it looks like anyway.

The newer trucks have them, I think it's the Job 2 '12's and newer (there was some floor mat drama with weathertech I remember reading about here).

So yeah, gotta drop $50k to get your footrest, or make one. The latter would probably be more cost effective.

I use the side bit where the hood lever is.

At work you will find my feet all over the place; on the dash against the headlight switch, on the mirror arms. But then again I spend a lot of time sitting in my work truck.

Next thing drivers are going to want is the daisy in the flower pot and possible gps coordinates to the next tree that can be hugged along the highway.

Doesn't sound manly to me! Even VW got rid of the flower vase in the latest incarnation of the New Beetle.
