this bottom picture is the close up shot of the cap and the valve cover. you can see where it leaks onto my headers, and that is where the burning oil ensues. Now i havent been able to guage clearly how much oil actually leaks out, but if i go underneath the truck i can see hwere oil has seeped down along the motor and onto the transfer case/tranny etc. hopefully its a quick fix!!! anything else that might look out of place feel free to enlighten me.

more pictures in my album, interior is nice body is nice. just the motor has a few kinks.

That breather cap is not original equipment, Ha! Where that cap is located is where the cdr (tuna can) is located on the ATS 093 setup. What kind of turbo is that? I have never seen one tha uses the oen air cleaner. Someone on here was talking about one a few days ago.

Incorrect, Farmert. The ATS location is dead center on the valve cover, not offset like his.

buell.rider, you have a Hypermax turbo kit. Hypermax is the only company that utilizes the stock air cleaner setup with their kit.

Now, what someone has done is taken our the tube that would run to the CDR and put on a gasser style vent cap on instead. Easily noticeable by the "Edelbrock" stamp on the cap.

What you need to do is see if you can remove that cap and tell us what is under it. Hopefully there is something left to reconnect the CDR system. If possible, it would be ideal to contact Hypermax and see what it would take to replace the missing pieces. That is once you can assess what is missing.

EDIT: Take a look at the second pic in BlueOvalBud's 9th post. Look carefully at the valve cover and you will see what it is supposed to look like.

From what I could see and feel with my finger, was nothing under the. Cap. I pulled it out and there was the rubber grommet the cap fit into. I put my finger in about halfway and didn't hit anything. Didn't try farther as engine was still hot, is there anything particular I need to look for? I will try contacting hypermax tomorrow. Was a hectic day today, a few of the injector hoses were leaking diesel. Rotted out or something
