This site has a lot of old chips too:
Auto Color Library - The World's Largest Online Color-Chip Library
I'd set it to 1955 Ford.

The best way to tell the condition of the new engine is to get it running, then do a leakdown test on it. Next best indicator is to do a compression test, you aren't looking for a specific factory compression reading, but that all cylinders within about 10% of each other in a good engine. Quick and dirty test: pull the valve cover and side cover plate and see how much sludge has accumulated, if more than ~ 3/8" thck, a rebuild is on the horizon. AVOID the temptation to start cleaning the sludge out of the visible areas (except maybe the underside of the valve cover itself) once you start loosening it, the end is very quickly approaching. Also AVOID using any commercial or home brewed recipe internal engine cleaner on it! The 6 is an easy and inexpensive engine to rebuild. I rebuilt my first one at 17.

28-755. Hand or arm signals or signal device
A person shall give a stop or turn signal if required by this article by means of the hand and arm or by a signal lamp or lamps or mechanical signal device of a type approved by the department. If a vehicle is constructed or loaded so that a hand and arm signal would not be visible both to the front and rear of the vehicle, the signals must be given by a lamp or lamps or signal device.
Format Document Link to AZ legislature pg. not sure why lists Document format.
Hope this helps with AZ Law. Where in AZ are you located?

I hate to disagree, but DON'T disassemble any more of the engine than absolutely necessary unless you are going to rebuild it immediately. as soon as you start disloging the built up sludge it will plug up the oil pump and/or the oil passages right after, destroying the engine in the process. This is a perfect example of a case of if it ain't broke don't fix it.
The drum brakes are more than adequate if rebuilt with new shoes, wheel cylinders, turned drums new lines and master cylinder. Don't bother trying to rebuild the wheel cylinders or master cylinder, replace them. brakes are way too important to cut corners.
There is no reason for them to overheat in flat AZ if used normally.
