Saw some good prices on kits I know they would would rather supply them. Wondering what labor should cost, and if there's a good wrench in OKC? Don't want to go to a dealership.

 

i dont think a dealer will do a delete for you. als headstuds i would also do head gaskets if your doing headstuds. delete kit goes for 200-400, head gaskets im guessing 150, and around 10-15hr labor i would guess 2k or in the neighborhood of.

 

My dealer quoted me, 5K to do studs gaskets and egr delete.

Want THE MAN, not just some Tech putting in his time thats maybe done a couple!

Know what parts cost, looking for a small preformance shop or a experinced Tech. that would do it on the side.

they should do the delete for free if your doing gaskets because it has to come off anyways

 

hey sparkkky dealer cost is around 5k. side job prices very greatly. some guys charge 30an hour some $100 an hour. ya gets whats ya pay for.

egr delete, et all around 15 hours billable.
headstuds around 30 billable.
do them at the same time for the same money as headstuds.
with the o3/04 engine coolers are not a common issue.

Im closer to the top of that scale then the bottom.
