Ok guys Im fed up with the add a leaf the previous owner had on my truck. Tommarow Im going to install a mini spring pack and need some advice on how to do it. I understand the basics of what needs to be done. And I have the instructions that came with the kit. But kind of wondering on how to get the truck up in the air in a safe manor. I know I have to do one side at a time. But what does that mean? Both tires off with 2 jackstands, or 1 tire off with 1 jackstand? And Im pretty sure I need to jack the thing up and put the jackstand on the frame rail right behind the front spring. Honestly This is my first Big truck and im not used to doing much more then engine work. I don't want to do somthing wrong and have a jack stand sticking through the floor or something stupid like that. Any advise would be great.

 

I have heavy stands and or wood blocks for cribbing because the axle has to drop down. I did mine on a lift with this truck.
