"It's an ARMY!

It's an INVASION...

BATTEN DOWN THE HATCHES AND HIDE THE WOMEN FOLKS!!!"

*snikkerrezzz* AH! The beauty of RULE #6 in operation...

6) VOTE MONGERING: You may enlist your buds and chapter, other groups or whatever to vote for your entry. HOWEVER - be warned that all of the polls are annonymous, and your buds can always vote for someone else. There is no way to know! SPAMMING the forums should not be done at any time for this purpose, be careful what you do...

you know what though bud, nobody in the idi forum knew about the competition until i said something about it. and i just happened to stumble upon it. you could go around every forum and post a link to this pole so you can get some interest in it. i shouldnt be saying this so i stay ahead in the votes lol but for there to be 0 psd votes is very surprising

This from the two guys who went screaming off the line in a cloud of smoke, naturally...
I wonder what it will look like in three or so weeks?

Know what? Something just occurred to me. If we look at rule two and three:

2) Number of entries in each round limited to the first ten who enter a round. Each of the entry threads (unlike other contests) will run until there are ten entries - no matter how long that takes. Second place winners will be entered in a "Runner Up" poll just before the championship for the year, and the winner be entered in the final Championship round! This means there can be no more than NINE (9) regular rounds. The runner up and Championship rounds will determine how many entry rounds there are - because the Championship and runner up will be 6 week polls each beginning on October first.

3) To enter - post a picture of your truck at least 800 by 600 pixels in size (no links to galleries, albums, or other sites I will NOT chase them down, and neither will anyone else. Picture must be displayed in thread) Avoid extremely large images, please. (1024 pixels largest side of image). Huge pictures may interfere with some connection speeds. ALL images will be tailored to size to fit in poll thread. You may only enter ONE truck in each round. First place finishers may not enter additional trucks in succeeding rounds, once you win - the race is on!

~ I didn't say anything anywhere in that about runners up not being qualified to enter again - it looks like you can keep on entering rounds even if you have a runner up spot!
And I'M GOING TO LEAVE IT THAT WAY...

The way I see it working if a runner up finally takes a round, then they stop. But not until !

It seems kind of self evident that a regular round winner would have to drop out of the runner up finals though... Still, it's an extra roll of the dice, ain't it?

Hmm, yeah. I wish I'd had those extra pics to work with.

Here's another "LOOPHOLE" that I'm going to deliberately leave woven into the way things work:
(What the heck, it makes things interesting)

As things are - if I pop open the poll for one round at the same time that I pop open the entry round for the next, can someone who is in that poll and could win it still enter the next round?

ANSWER: Hell yes.
If they win that round, we either have a blank spot in the next round or somebody replaces them ~~ no big deal. So far the entry rounds are up longer than the polls. If I make the entry rounds a minimum of a month long there are no conflicts

PS: If I PERSONALLY ran around the other forums dropping posts about it ~ I'd be considered spamming, and then I'd be on the run from the FTE "LAW"
As usual however there is a way around it! It doesn't say anywhere that other people can't spread the good word to one or two forums of their own...
(That isn't spam, it's word of mouth advertising)

Chapter FRIV threads are wonderful for this purpose...
*He sezzz, knowingly

So long as it isn't seen as blatant canvassing, it's cool

Hmmm with all these exceptions. I dont suppose picture whoring for more votes would be against the rules would it?

Back when my bronco was still stock

Posing on a snow pile. It was there so why not park on it. lol

Scrapping a stepvan to get the 4BTA is never fun

What 1200 pounds of scrap steel in a bronco looks like
