Thanks for the sympithy to my dog everybody. It was Ernie, Rollback is still waiting here to bark at you guys. Yeah Bud, if it can be driven, just bring the other column tomorrow, and we'll fix what ever went wrong. Seems to me, the spare column is the one I removed from your car, I don't remember anymore, but we;ll get it fixed. I'll give you a phone ringy dingy when I'm heading toward the house, therapy is in Millersville tomorrow morning.

OK Charlie..... we may find it easier just to re-install the original column back in..... I pretty much know that this one has shed it's ball bearings inside the housing....gotta open it up to repair it!

Charlie does good work!!!! We removed the column, fixed it - with Charlie's ingenuity - reinstalled it....works good! So we went ahead and repaired the spare!

Thanks Charlie.....Working on the old laptop now!
