I have a 95 crew cab F150. 8" suspension lift with 35 inch tires, I need about two more inches of clearence. Does anyone have cut out fender flares on theirs. would like to see pics if possible. How much clearence can I gain with this. I would rahter not go with a body lift.
you have a '95 Crew cab F-150??? I have never heard of that. also I had a 6 inch lift on my F-150 super cab and had plenty of clearance for 35's what size tire are you planning on running?
It is a conversion done with a F350 cab, same people that did the vans for ford. I already have 35 inch tires, super swampers, 15inch 12.5 on it. When I turn sharp I have about an inch or less clearence on the front wheels to the rear of the fender opening. Any bump at all, like pulling into my drive way will cause it to hit.
The extra weight probably has something to do with it.
Primary rig is Green Thunder:
95' F-150 XLT 4x4, 302, 5 spd, MSD 6A, Flowmaster Exhaust, Sunroof, Clear corners w/ Diamond headlights, CD player with 2 10" subs and some 32" BFG Muds .
I believe my problem is the wrong tire size. i have 35x14.50 not 12.50x15. I am amazed that you guys dont rub with six inch lift and I have an 8 inch and do even with the wider tires.
No I am sure it is hitting the fender I can watch it out the window. It is actually hitting where the fender skin curls over to meet the inner fender well. Right where that last bit of paint is and the crews that hold the inner fender well to the metal. i am sure that the 14.50 wide is the problem.
