I may cut off the bedsides before they crush it for someone to use in the future. The one side is dent free original paint as far as I can tell. Gotta be gold to someone down the road....
Is this bed or at least the bedsides still available? If so I want em
I know this is an old thread but just a word of advice. Don't assume shipping would be outrageous. I had a bed shipped from Tucson to Sweet Grass MT for only $380. If you live in a rust belt and you can pickup a rust free box shipped to your door for only $800 it's a bargain.
Too bad it's on the other side of the country, If it were just a 2-4 hour drive, then I wouldn't have a problem with it... that's not a bad price at all...
Man I actually feel sick in my stomach to see that stuff, I live in PA I hate seeing the stuff that's sent to the scrapyards here and 95% of stuff is rusted In half but to see people crush stuff like that I'm sick beds are the hardest thing to come by here this is so saddening.
Best I can remember, judging from the paperwork inside the truck, truck was donated to a church or something with pictures and everything from the original owners family stashed inside the well cared-for truck, then it was auctioned off to the scrapper. Long gone now. Dumb *** people.
