what should i do about a tonneau cover?

I have a tool box in the bed of my truck and i was also considering getting a tonneau cover for the bed, the only problem is i eventually would like to put bed rails on my truck as well and unfortunately my box gets in the way. i know i can get a tonneau cover that goes up to the box but what about the bed rails? also is there a style box that doesn't hang over the top of the bed to be mounted and can be under a full tonneau cover so i can eventually get chrome bed rails? any ideas you guys have are greatly appreciated.

I think I would need to start behind mine .. but thats how I would want it for quick access ,, I have one now but it's home made and it's 2 pieces that slide in a rail when the tailgate is down

They're a little spendy but you could use the rolling type tonneau thats works like a window shade. It mounts inside the bed rails and they make them for a bed with a toolbox installed.

true i never thought about that, would that be a good option for a truck with a toolbox though? ive also heard of people taking the bed rails and cutting off an end of the rail and bolting it to the box.

I bought a tractor supply tool chest, sits on the bed floor and is about an inch below the bed rails. Will top that with a Bakflip within the next month or two, which will allow me to lock everything away with the locking tailgate.

I access my tool box too much to have to open a tonnue section first plus I have a drop in ladder rack

so I think I am getting the roll and lock
Roll-N-Lock retractable aluminum truck bed cover

so I can lock it in any position
