Used transmission swap?
I have been looking for a 4R70W automatic transmission for my 1995 F-150 5.0L 4x4 in salvage yards. Will the transmission from a 1997 5.0L 4x4 Explorer work? Or would there be electronic control issues?
Also, if it fits, any suggestions for quick and easy upgrades or replacement parts before throwing the salvage transmission in?
