What up with "Search????"
What happened to the Search function that used to make this site and its forums so cool??? When I try to search the forums for "ignition switch actuator rod" or any combination thereof I get an error message saying my query is less than 4 words (NOT) and can't be run. I need some info on how to diagnose/change the actuator rod in my steering column. Everynow and then it won't disengage the starter after the engine fires up and the starter keeps dragging. Thanks.

It's more likely the starter relay on the fender welding its contacts together. It's on ~$12 to replace it, but be sure to get the style where all the terminals point parallel; away from the mounting base. '87-up.
