7.3 TOP END OIL CHANGE / READ LEARN

We have all seen or heard of POWERSTROKEHELP.COM and the mans top end oil change, that there is additional oil hidding on top of the engine in the little res/holder. Before you waist your time. change your oil then drive about 200 miles then check the top end oil it will be the same honey color as the engine dip stick.
Now if it is not you have a gasket blocking the passage. the only thing you get out of changing this oil after you do an oil change is that you will have a extra 3/4 of a quart clean oil in your engine, meaning on the 7.3 you will have done a 16 quart oil change. now if you attempt to do the top end oil change with unchanged oil as seen in the video yes it will clear up the top end oil and seem like you have done good and yes it will sound better, but drive it for 200 miles and check again it will be as dirty as the unchanged oil.
FACT: There is more than enough oil exchanged from the top to the bottom pan.
FACT: Powerstrokehelp.com is selling video,s and his service
FACT: He even states in the youtube video " you ever wonder why when you change your oil its dirty shortly after" He made his own mistake by admitting this is not actually needed.
FACT: Per his video if you put new oil in and dump 2 bottles of what ever oil additive you want in, meaning additive in the 15 quart oil change and a additional additive in the top oil change YES IT WILL HAVE LESS NOISE
FACT: You are waisting your time.

OK now let me give you a tried and true of what i do, I have a recovery company and the truck 2000 ford f350 crew 2/4 7.3 with 370,000, purchased the truck with 23000 on it from day one oil change every 7500 miles 1 gallon of amsoil remaining rotella and 10 oz of motorkote, 6 speed manual trany oil change every 15000 miles synchromax from royal purple , rear end oil change every 15000 miles royal purple gear lube with 4 oz of motorkote once a year all remaining fluids like power steering, brake, ect get drained and replaced, also a kn air filter changed every year to new cleaned every 3 months, new ball joints and tires and alianment every year plus if i find a leak it gets fixed asap, now i get 17.9 mpg towing cars 19.6 to 20.4 empty the fuel filter is changed every 3 months and opti lube in every tank and fuel from only one specific company ever.

Actually, you don't need to drive 200 miles to circulate the oil in the HPOP system. It can be done in less than a minute at idle. Hit the throttle, and it changes even faster.
