Got the motor mounted to frame

Got the motor cleaned up and mounted to the frame. What do you all think? Its a 460 w/c6 in case you were wondering. New mounts, new chrome oil pan, bolts, gaskets, etc. Waiting for more funds to finish rest of engine with newer parts.

Stripping, cleaning up, and painted:

Engine mounted to frame, flexplate, and converter installed:

Moved the crossmember back but still need to figure out where to bolt it once I got the tranny hooked up:

Man, I can't wait to just start the thing

Looks good; I'm kinda doing the same thing except putting a 360 / C6 into a 64. My motor & trans as well as drive shaft are in place; doing cab mounts & floor boards this week.
Those IFS sure make life alot easier than these straight axles. lol

I wouldn't bolt up the trans like that! Proper way is torque converter into trans, (lube the hub, and make sure it's seated all the way) then bolt the TC to the flexplate. You'll ruin the front pump in the trans they way you've got it now!
