hello all and anyone....

I have a 1989 ford e350 7.5 liter V8 460 and I am having fuel issues.... I have a mechanic who is working on it for over a year now and she has told me that the fuel rail is bad... I can NOT find one to fit my motor.... Ford has stop making the part and it has become obsolete... Can the existing one be repair or is there a universal part?. I can't believe that this truck "unrepairable" with only 34,000 miles..... So any help would be appreciated... Thank you
