I'm selling

I hate to sell it cause it's great and it took me a while to find this combination...
Super cab with the 460 and a 5 speed. No corrosion and interior is in great shape.

That's a fine truck! Do you have any pics and info on the e-fans? And what is a "Big 3 Upgrade"?

I can get pics tomorrow of the E-Fan setup. The fans came out of another vehicle. (I work in a body shop, when stuff is damaged and insurance replaces with new parts, we trash the old. I decided to keep this setup, had a small crack but that was it.)

I honestly cant remember if it was an Isuzu Rodeo, An Equinox, Or a Trailblazer. So many cars have been in and out since then...

The controller setup is two-part. The fan setup is one is larger than the other, so I dedicated that one to temperature control.

O'Reillys sells a fan controller with a 30A Relay, with an aluminum sensor to push into the radiator, as well as control for A/C clutch, and a fuse holder for +12V power In. It offers wiring for two fans but I dont use the second wire, so it was cut, taped, and heatshrunked off. It also allows for control of temperature as to when the fans turn on and off. I have mine set as low as possible (180*F T-stat).

Here's the controller

So, When the radiator reaches the desired temperature, only the larger of the two fans turn on, Completely independent of the smaller.

Secondly is a 30A relay on a mount right next to the controller, and it operates off of the A/C clutch. It is a 12v clutch, so t-tap into the +12V line on the A/C clutch. I use Vaseline/Dialectric grease all over the T-Tap, and the electrical tape 3" up and down of the wire using Scotch Super 33+ tape. I put a Quick Disconnect at the end of the wire at the relay. Relay has its own weatherproof fuse holder. Relay is directly wired to the smaller of the two fans, with a separate wire running to the A/C wire on the actual controller (Above).

So, when the A/C is engaged, both the large and small fans turn on.

Sorry for long winded response, I can draw out a diagram if needed.
I may just do it anyways.

Big 3 is a (necessary, IMO) upgrade when you move from the 2G to the 3G alternator.

You replace the Battery -> Solenoid Positive wire + Battery -> Frame wire, Alternator -> Solenoid wire, and Engine -> Frame wire all with heavier gauge, stranded wire. Welder ground wire works great. Grab some copper crimp lugs, and some Silver Solder, push the wire through, crimp mildly, take a propane torch the the area around the lug hole and melt a bunch of solder down into the connector. Once you think you have enough, add a bit more, then move the torch down to the crimp for a bit, watch the solder suck down, pull the torch away and continue adding solder on top until it stops melting. Heatshrink the whole thing 3x for protection. That's my method.

I know it's 4 things but it's called Big 3 for whatever reason.

Also forgot to add, truck had 42K miles on it when I got it in '11. Has just over 75.5K now, daily driven.

Very nice truck. Love the Coopers! What gearing are you running on the 302? I feel like my 302 is a dog. Not sure it would manage that kind of load.

Pyleketerson, that is a sharp looking truck. Do you have any rubbing issues with the 35's with just a 3" body lift?

Thanks guys. No rubbing with those 35s, although I don't know what the offset is for that wheel set. I would actually like to know because I need to get new tires and I might as well ditch the old 16.5s and go with either 16 or 17s. Makes tire selection a lot easier. I like how it drives now so I want to keep a similar setup.
