Damn these picture threads get so screwed up.

We need a mod to make a STICKY with these rules

you must follow these rules,or your post will be edited by the moderators

1.Please post no more than 3 pics.
2.Keep this thread for 87-96 F series only.
3.NO COMMENTS needed please! if you need to comment,then pm the person.
4.Size your pics to a maximum size of 640 X 480 pixels. Larger ones will be edited or deleted.
5.Please post pics of YOUR truck only.
6.Turn off your signatures in your post.

If you need your pics posted because you can't figure it out,pm me, and i ll post them for you.

Failure to comply with the rules will have your post either deleted,or edited.

Well this is the 87-96 forum but if everyone wants 2 sticky's 1 for 87-91 and one for 92-96 that would be fine.

Turn off sigs because it crowds things. Some people have pictures in their sigs and some really annoying sigs.

 

Did I post something wrong here to trigger this, or was that little outburst directed towards another post?

Why no more than three pics? If this thread is for looking at pics, why limit it?

I Think the max file dimensions are a bit low. I bet no one here is running less than 1024x768 monitors and most are probably much larger than that. an 800x600 or even 1024x768 picture seems completely appropriate for a show of thread. Larger than that... probably not. For most shots, 600 pixels along the short edge will give you all the detail you need, but if someone goes over that, why send in the gestapo? If you don't like it, get a bigger monitor.

What brad did was kinda nuts, but I think your going way off the deep end here. Most people are here to have fun, and if this forum was run like that, I wouldn't be here.

Also, lighten up, it's not like you started this thread.

 

i think no more than 3 pics per post would be a good idea. the more pics the slower the pages load.

also i think we should leave our sigs on as well because most people have the specs to their trucks in their sigs and that would cut down on people asking about other's trucks.

If you internet connection/computer is that slow you shouldnt be viewing picture threads.

 

Yeah well some people use their phones to get online as well.

My home comouter isnt that slow. However im sure theirs some people out there that has older computers that are slower for whatever reason that may still want to view photos. Its just the rest of us being courteous to everyone else out there that may not have a faster connection and wanting to view photos.

 

I dont understand? Its called a picture thread so that people can post/look at lots of trucks. Why would you limit what or how many pictures people can post... Also, why do you care if people comment/ask questions? Thats whats nice about it. You can ask people questions.
