What are you attempting to cover?
There are some other options that won't remove your paint finish...as those black bras will likely scratch the hell out of your truck when they flap with dust beneath them.
Try looking into 3M's clear protective film or a product similar to it. It's just a clear plastic covering that is only a few mil's thick and adheres to the surface of your paint, is nearly indetectable, and won't scratch the finish.
