I've had it with these Body Mounts!!

Yes the Daystar body mounts will work. The number 2 position is the problem. KF04050BK is the kit. You may need to make a washer with a tube welded to it to replace the upper metal if you cannot reuse the original. I will post a picture of my mount. It permanently fixes this. The kit has all the mounts for an Excursion.

Actually, just yesterday I pulled some cash from my safe and noticed that I had a few hundred in older fifties (printed in 1991). The bad thing was it didn't match the newer colorful batch of fifties or even the gorgeous blue hundreds. So, my daughter lucked out. Maybe next time Brent

I know this is old, but it may benefit someone now or in the future.
I have not yet fixed the clunk in mine, but i was able to reproduce it perfectly and identified that it is the end link on the sway bar. I crawled under the truck and grabbed hold of the sway bar at the end link and shook real hard to the great sound of the floorboard clunk i was hearing. The reason I say great sound, I wanted to replace a bunch of suspension bushings anyways and I really didn't want it to be a saga of battling the body bushings or potentially be ball joints. Will update when I get around to fixing it but I am confident that's all it will be on my 04 ex.
