Looking for a few opinions

Ok I have a 1955 F100 and i am trying to find a good tranny for my current setup. Right now I have a 1996 351w engine, 1995 WC T5 tranny, and the rear end our oif a 1995 Thunderbird SC. The tranny is completely rebuilt but I fear the 351 will tear it up. I was looking at a M5R2 today and curious if I should go with that instead. I do not know much about gearing ratios so that is why I am asking for peoples opinions.

I do plan on building the motor; 351w stroked to a 408 w/ AFR225 or AFR205 heads.

You should absolutely go with the M5R2 over the T-5 and my opinion was not at all based on the fact that I have one for sale right now
