I saved money from unemployment. I now do some repair work on the side. Bottom line, I only drive when I need too. there was a few months I never drove and didn't have insurance. I used my fathers car if I had to go somewhere. But now I will be attending school and starting a job so I gotta get the beast running

But does it do anything else to help mpg's? Also , has anyone bumped up more than 14 degrees on regular without pinging and is it worth it. By the way, this forum is awesome Best to Ya, 92'
I don't know if it can help with mpg's or not, but it does combat the corrisive stuff in ethanol. I just don't want it to eat up the rubber parts of the fuel system. Our trucks are not immune to that. I'm not actually sure how new the car has to be for that.

I don't think you can go more than about 14 without pinging.
