I have a 94 f150 with the i6 300 and want to do a 4 inch lift with 33s. This truck is going to be a work truck and I wanted to know how the i6 with the lift would do when towing or with a load of firewood?

 

Welcome to the forum, but you would be far better off starting a new thread with your question.

There are quite a few variables

Tire size, rear ratio, truck configuration(cab and bed size), which transmission, what size trailer you plan on towing, etc

 

You will be cursing when you load it down if you lift it and add 33s. I have a F150, 300, 2wd, stock size tires and it's a bit slow unloaded. Removing mechanical advantage with the bigger tires doesn't help, unless you regear to 4:11 or deeper. Lifting it also means you have to hoist the wood or whatever higher up just to get it in the box.

I feel that if you want tires bigger than 31s, go right for a F350. Better axles, frame, brakes, etc.
