i just bought a 77 f250 today for some parts but it has the motor and tranny pulled out and is in the back
they both look really good and i was wondering what it was worth
the motor is a 460 and the tranny is a c-6 auto it came out of a 2wd

 

i also wanted to ask would i be able to get more by selling the tranny seperate
and would i be able to get more for the motor by pulling it apart and selling it in pieces

 

Unless there is something special about the transmission such as a cast iron tail houing or the R servo, they are dime a dozen for the most part. Might get between 50 and 200 for the tranny.
