I am plnning on some graphics that will look like the old 70s winnebago but have a U-RV on each side.

It hasent moved yet. I didn't even start it since I buttoned it up this morning.
I am still planning on buy a pyrometer and a boost gauge. this month. if i do drive i'm not going anywhere just a test drive.
For those wondering what we are talking about, I gave a little (40HP or so? )tune-UP. with nevrenufhp's help.

I'll post up the results.

Nice job on the RV. It is unique next to the others. Check out Buyers Products for retractable steps. We use them on our F750 Box trucks and they install easily and are durable. They are also inexpensive compared the fabricating them in a collective total {time, components, etc.}

Product Categories | Welcome to Buyers Products Company

You can by these at the local truck parts dealer such as Fleetpride.

Yesterday I found a air ride rear axle and suspension for
$125 . It's out of a 92 freightliner OTR tractor and of course will need
New air bags and shocks. Looks like I will have about $450 in the setup.

I'm getting 7 foot 7 inches from the outside edge of the tire treads to the others outside edge.
Mine has 275/75R22.5 Firestone 560 tires,air brakes and a 10K front axle.
The lug nuts and center of the wheel sits out side the fenders edge.

I am thinking some of the lighter duty F600s-and F-700s might be narrower.

The air ride axle is now going to be my winter project.

Now I have A/c in the living quarters. I mounted a portable AC unit to the wall and piped the hot air though the wall with (2) 4 inch dryer outlets.

I also applied Sound deadner to the inner sides of the door skins inner sides of the door panels, inner back side of the cab sheet steel.
What is used is HVAC Duct sealant. $20 a gallon and I swear I think it is the same stuff as lizard skin which is $150-$160 per gallon.

This truck is MUCH quieter now.

That HVAC stuff has me interested, where did you get it? What brand is it?

I need to quiet down my cab, on the freeway my rig is completely deafening!
