I found a 54 at the local PAP; do you think its worth anything to try to take the ss trim from around the cab off? it appears to be in good shape. I plan on getting the ss vent window frames and thought maybe I'll get the cab trim also.

There have been discussions on removing this trim...if you decide to take it be sure to leave yourself plenty of time so that you can sloooowly pry it off without kinking it. Personally I like the trim...

The doors are rotten at the bottom, the driver door has several bullet holes. The left front fender is in excellent shape, the left has a few dents; the inner fender panels look great, the cab floor & corners are rusted through the rear fenders look Ok one has bondo on it. The bed look straight it could be salvaged. The hood had a bird on it (has been removed) there was a lot of stainless steel on it door lock on the glove box, lock gone. Frame looked great. I got a few items.

Jaye,
Sounds like a good project to buy and cannibalize for other members and yourself. Bet you'll make a little profit while helping others get their projects running.

P.s. Did you get my PM about the seat? I picked one up and was just wondering how you had your mounts fabbed.

Jaye,

Donald here in TN. You might also consider get any bolts or nuts that will unbolt easy. I was mounting a stock horn bracket on the left side of my radiator support last night and realized I needed the bolts. Went to my storage unit where I have two supports. One support had the two I needed. Wouldnt you know it I rung both off. Those are fine thread 5/16" bolts. Ended up finding more at the local TSC.
