400m-429
I am trying to buy a c6 mated to a np205 for my truck.It needs to bolt to a 72 429 ci engine.My question is will one from a 400m work.If so are there any mods to be made and will my stock 429 flexplate work>? Any info greatly appreciated.

Yes, it will work. 95% of the 400's have the same pattern as the 429. There are a few 400's that have the smallblock pattern but you shouldn't have to worry about that. I don't know about the flexplate though.
