I think the second one counts as drifting, not autocross Man this makes me want mine to be done!

Saw this video a few weeks back...just goes to show how versatile these old trucks can be. Low and slow- fast in a straight line- nimble around the corners- packing a healthy amount of weight- weekend cruiser. Just about anything you could want.

I watched a few others of the same truck. IT's an LS motor and full air ride under it. I am getting psyched to get mine going and try that myself.

don't care for his choice of power , but give him major kudo's for giving it hades as many would rather polish the fenders and talk sh@! about how bad there's is and never prove it or try it . can't even imagine trying to toss my ol' flatty powered manual everything around that ......... they could use a sun dial to clock it .........................................

I agree. I dont care for his power plant but it sure does sound nice! Got to give him a lot of credit for throwing it around that course.

My truck would go around the first corner right now and lose a fender!

AX is inexpensive, safe, a lot of fun, and makes you a better driver to boot. Courses are usually larger and more interesting than in that video tho.

go to SCCA Sports Car Club of America and find your region then look for a local club in your area. There are lots of events, you can go to one almost every weekend. The official name for autocross is SOLO. All you need to do is show up a couple hours before the event starts, and pay the registration fee (typically 20-30.00). They will give your vehicle a brief safety inspection and assign you a class and number based on modifications. They will even loan you a helmet, and often team you up with an experienced racer/instructor who will help you get through your first event. It is a BLAST!

Homade,
When I finish my truck we should take them to the Speedway and see what they'll do. I'm just 30 minutes north in Boone County so it would be a short trip.

How possible is it to drive on the speedway? I'm only about an hour to an hour fifteen from there.

So, how are strait axles on a bank?
