How are your prices on cases of oil?

Since gas is jumping up daily, we were wondering
about spending food $$ on motor oil.

88 cents a quart on sale was not too long ago.

But we all know that 'rebates' never get processed as well.

Don't waste your money on semi-synthetics.

What kind of atc's you like?

We have a barn full of honda trikes. ALmost one of each ever made and
a handful of sx's and BR's for farm work.

Was 52$ for some kind of Special oil?

Nope, nothing special, just oil.

Not into Trikes. I get that a lot though.

well i picked up a case of carquest 5w30 engine oil for 35$... Whats the problem? It was 26$ only a few months ago. Carquest is made in the same ashcroft plant that valvoline is made in. It was 2.83 a quart. BUT! At 26$ it was only 2.17 a quart. Thats terrible. i Was at tractor supply this weekend and i could a 5 gallon bucket of 15-40 rotellla T for 60$. Thats 3 dollars a quart !!! Thats not bad in this economy for how i see it. The traveler diesel 15-40 oil was 45$ for 5 gallons. Thats 2.25 a quart and traveler diesel oil meets the requirements of good amount engine builders. So in that case i would have to figure that it has a good amount of phosphoras and zinc in it just like rotella T. You could also get these oils at tsc for similar prices in 4, 10, and 20 quart containers (i believe those sizes). My belief is that anything that is approved by engine builders and has the api donut and ratings is great. You can also get traveller in 5w30.
