Wow FoxNotch, great job - you can't even tell it's the same truck! Mine looks similar to yours originally...though the body is in a lot better shape. How hard a job was it to add the running lights? I've seen the writeup on here but I'm still nervous.

It wasn't bad at all. I did it with the help of a write-up that I found on here, and an f350 I had at the time. It didn't help that my roof was pretty well beat up, but it was comforting to do it pre-paintjob.
Lots of people do it without trouble, just take your time.
The day I bought it last April... bought it in the morning, took it up sledding immediately.
Did some serious cleaning up - new tires, wheels, fender trim, exhaust tips, raised the boards back up, removed the old diamond plate rail covers, added window vent shades, signal mirrors, replaced bent tailgate, spray in liner, and then some general maintenance (brakes, etc). I almost wish I would have taken more before pictures, but I didn't want to be reminded at the time how rough she was, lol.
Not much has changed on the SD... I put the rack on the day I got it, but it comes and goes. New tires... More time has been spent with on the '88 because everything was cheaper to do.
Right after I got it

'88 when I got it
All that's changed (plus exhaust which you can't see)
