You can just replace the wheel for less than that if that's all that is wrong. Is there any in/out play? A little side to side is ok as long as it doesn't contact the housing. That is a good price for 150 if that is a whole turbo in good shape though. The bent fins may throw it out of balance, especially if there are any chips.

check it out if you can, but that is a good price like I said if it is in decent shape. A new wheel will run about 100 bucks.

Got any pictures? We love pictures.

More important that weather to buy the CL turbo is, what caused the damage? There was something that got between your air filter and the turbo that was not supposed to be there. We need to figure out how something got there so it doesn't happen again, and cause more damage.

$150 is a great deal for a used turbo. If nothing else, you could swap the wheel for yours and you still have a spare turbo that cost you $50. (cost of wheel around $100)

If it's out of balance at all it will eat itself up. May be loosing a little boost too. Can you see any "dusting" or "sandblasting" on the craigslist turbo? If it checks out I'd grab it if I were you.
