If you did a cummins swap it would. Sorry to hear you're selling it though, what are you getting to replace her?

I would i have even looked into 12v on dieselenginetrader.com and to much when a whole truck for that price its real hard decision but in the end i think i will enjoy a 1000ftlb 2wd tire fire and it will still get great economy im only getting 13 driving like my grandma in mine now its breaking the bank

ya know those 12v cummins motors inhabit other places than just under the hood of dodge pickups. Might be able to find one in another type of truck or peice of equipment that you could put in your truck for cheaper?

haha everyone hears bad things about dodges lol. Id consider a cummins swap but man i am having fun now. If you are getting 13 mpg there is something wrong. A 1000ft/lb monster wont be getting 13, could you keep your foot out of that? **** i know i wouldnt be able to, id be shocked if you were getting 10. But hey its all just dollars!! hehehe

Well back about 2 months ago i did find 1 off a generator and 2 off equipment the generator wanted 4700$ and it had a little over 6200 hours and the ones off the equipment rode and checked them out right price motors were junk though...F250hd no way am i driving a car unless i stick a diesel in it and still would prefer a truck even then. And wreckinball na a 12v cummins are torque monsters with lower hp numbers it wouldnt be more than about 450-500hp to make 900-1000ftlb mileage somewhere around 14-16 id guess and i wouldnt be in it to much trans aint cheap

Cummins swaps are easy, if you do them the right way

All you need is:

Cummins engine
2wd NV205 (there is no pint in keeping the POS ZF5)
Divorced mounted NP205
engine mounts, either from fordcummins.com or make your own
2wd ford manual trans cross member (to mount the NV4500)

After that it's just making drive shafts and wiring the engine.
