Many of you will recall the difficulties I encountered last week with changing the o-rings in my oil cooler. Thanks to the kindness and expertise of the FTE brethren, I'm proud to announce that I'm back on the road. A special shout out again to RubberDuck for coming through with the part I needed and to Riverrat41 for answering my phone calls and turning me on to this forum.
RÖENTGEEP: The spring is either still in the pan or it fell out before I got the cooler lined up and installed on the 1st go 'round. Either way, after the pics you posted of the inside of the pan, I concluded that it was VERY unlikely I'd have any luck fishing that sucker out and it wasn't worth the rsik of dropping the dipstick flange into the pan too (or having it start leaking cause I took it off).

Glad you're up and running. Maybe you'd want to put a magnet on the pan just in case, for piece of mind maybe? Just a thought, anyway, glad you're up and going.
