Thanks to everyone

I want to thank all who post here for your fellowship, your helpfulness and being polite. This site will eventually get busier in time as these engines become more common.

It is my opinion that the 5.0L and the Ecoboost engines will lead well into the future with great success.

My pleasure, Tim, and I'm sure there are others in agreement on this.
This is a great site!

It's a lot of fun and sometimes educational too.

Tim, it's your turn to go buy a 2011!!!!

I'm in the zone my friend! But, I'm sitting back and waiting to see how the gas prices go, how the incentives change and lastly, I'm so fricken torn over which engine to choose. Admittedly, this is a good problem to have.

I've got to chime in here with Tim.

I want to thank you folks for your participation here. I'm thrilled to see Ford succeeding with these new engines and it's great to see all of you posting in here.

These forums are built on the success of the trucks and the "take rate" but more importantly, they're built on your posts and participation here.

And, as an aside, Tim and I will be working on putting together a Tech Folder in a sticky at the top of the forum. We're open for any and all suggestions from you as you take delivery and begin putting miles on your trucks. We're open to things like mods, service tips, general information, etc.

In fact, I'm going to just go ahead and sticky a thread at the top of the page for you all to submit suggestions. Drop in there and post your thoughts and ideas. The more, the better.

And as Tim said, thanks for all that you put into making this forum great.

Thanks John and thanks again for your hard work on this site.

The Ford engineer that I rode with on Thursday, (though not involved with ecoboost or 5.0L development) did confirm that Ford Motor Company visits most of the internet forums especially regarding it's bread and butter. Trucks and SUV's.

The more intelligent and well thought out information that we post, the more likely we will be taken seriously.

I think Ford needs to see things like, who feels like they needed to buy an ESP or other warranty package and who felt they didn't need one.

The rep told me that Ford decided not to expand the warranty parameters on the EB engine as they felt it would send mixed signals to the public. So they warranted it the same as the 5.0L trucks.
