has anyone heard of any issues with rust bubble popping up on the 2004 f150's...

I have some rust bubble's on the rear of the bed right around and under the FX4 sticker...

 

I think there is a TSB for that....I recall it was some type of panel that was installed improperly on the inside of the fendor on the right rear. Take it to the dealer.

so what does all that mean... ford noted there is an issue..

 

rt side has a sound deadner pad on rt side rear bed panel
was covered under 3 yr 36000 waranty.notice was sent to owners
pad had a alum.liner that caused rust.should be removed,don't remember
years,pos.04 05 short bed only.
