You're going to love it, Amy. It's fun to drive and it'll tow the Scamp like it's not even there. You'll find you'll have a hard time not stomping on it away from the stoplight. I've had mine three years and still like a quick run to 60 once in a while. Gotta clean it out, you know. Enjoy!

On July 26, 2018, I got back from an 8900 mile trip that took me from Richmond, VA area, to FL, AL, MS, LA, AS, TX, NM, CO, UT, ID, WY, MT, SD, NE, IA, IL, IN, MI, OH, WV, and back to the Richmond, VA area.

I have a 2014 F150 Supercab, 3.5L Ecoboost, 4x4, 8' box, 36 gal tank, Max Tow, and HDPP, which includes 3.73 Limited Slip Axle and LT245/75R17 LTE. I was pulling a Jay Flight 23RB trailer with a 6500# GVWR.

I'd never used premium gas even though the owners manual recommends (but not requires) premium.

From Richmond to the fill up in TX, I continued to use regular gas. That leg of the trip equaled 2,758.7 miles and I averaged 8.2290 mpg. From the first fill up in NM and until I got home, I used preminum gas. That leg was 6,180.5 miles and averaged 11.1909 mpg. And these numbers were hand calculated a recorded in my trip gas log.

About 1000 of these miles were without the trailer hooked up. Drove a lot of miles without trailer to see some of the sights.

I've had my 2014 FX4 Crewcab 4x4 with 6.5 long box for just over a year. I bought it with about 40,000 and now have well over 60,000. When I drive I average about 18 when my wife drives she gets about 16mpg. I took a 5800 mile tripe to Alaska and back this summer pulling a 8000# trailer and got 8.9mpg. Can't complain much about the mileage as the power is fantastic. I can pull any hill about as fast as I want pulling the trailer.
