Adding pictues to a post or thread
How do you add pics to a post or thread?
Please explain the steps. Pls forgive as you probably know I am a newbie to the site. Im sure this is posted somewhere so kindly give the link.

Step 1. - Create a free account at ImageShack® - Online Photo and Video Hosting or any other free image hosting site you like.
Step 2. Upload the image to Imageshack using their instructions. After uploading you will be given a Direct Link that looks like "http://imageshack.us/directory/filename.html"
Step 3. On ford-trucks.com, when posting a message there is a small square icon above the window where you type. The icon looks like a mountain with a sun in the top corner. click that icon. Type or copy/past the Direct Link from imageshack into the popup window.
You're done.

Look down towards the bottom of this page ... do you see under the reply box.. "Go Advanced" ? If you do, click on it.. then look for a "paperclip" icon in the tool bar.. following the instructions on uploading a picture from your computer.. works great..
(you might have to have 25 or posts before you can do this method of adding a picture..)

Thanks for the reply, I did the "go advanced" but did not see the paper clip. I guess I'll have to get busy posting so I get up to 25. One other question, how do you get the bottom of your post to show all your mods and specs? Like on yours it says Clint ... Early 99, F350, 4x4, etc., etc. ?

Go to the upper portion on this page and on the far left, look for User CP.. click on it and you will see Edit Signature on the left tool bar.

Yep, that worked.. do you have "Go Advanced" box at the bottom of this page ? After clicking the this.. you should get the tool bar on the next page that shows the paperclip icon.. and then you get a drop down window that looks like this:
Manage Attachments
Upload File from your Computer ..etc..etc..

Weird.. my paperclip is just to the right of the smiley face.. Maybe you need to be a "Supporter" to get this feature, since you have over 25 posts now.. Contact Cookie88 and ask him.. This method for posting pics is easy and fast..
