Need to tow my truck

Hey guys was wondering if anyone new if uhaul, budget truck rental, or penske would have a trailer to tow my 87 f250 460 24d reg cab long box 4spd. I towing it because the only gear I have is granny low first, I am taking it about 25 miles. The only other options that I have are to hope my buddys grandfather gets his wrecker on the road by spring. or I have to drive 150 miles to state college, PA to get my Dads f350 and 24' flat bed trailer to move my truck 25 miles lol

Haha, they would never ever let you even think about putting that on a u-haul

You may be able to rent it to haul a kia, then use it for the truck just make sure the wheelbase isnt to long for the trailer.

Good Luck

Try Hertz equipment rental. I got a flat bed to haul a 4Runner once, no questions asked. They didn't care what I was hauling or hauling it with.

You could use a dolly and just pull the driveshaft.

I don't think any truck will fit on a regular dolly. Wheels are to wide.

And 25 miles, you don't need to pull the driveshaft.

Just drag it behind another truck, or even car with some chains or rope and have someone in it work the brakes.

Or are you gonna be doing this in the middle of the city or really busy roads?

I going throuhgh town and past 2 state police barracks on heavily patrolled roads. It sucks that my dad lives so far away or I would use his truck and trailer as stated earlier but he's in central Pa and I'm in upstate NY. But budget truck rental claims to have a trailer it will fit on so I'm going to go take a look.
