Hey guys, My battery light came on after replacing the head gaskets and I can't figure out why. The alt. tested fine and the battery holds a charge. Any ideas? I also ran everything I could(fan on full blast, headlights, hazards, and wipers) at the same time and the battery only dropped a few volts. Is this normal? I need to get the truck inspected and can't because of this stupid light.

Check your ground cables. My battery light came on when I put the headers on my 302 and forgot to hook the ground wire back up to the upper intake.

 

Good call! It was ground to the starter, needed to be cleaned up a bit. Thanks for the suggestion.
