rear leaf spring shims 68 F100, DJM susp.
need some help finding rear shims to adjust pinion angle after installing DJM shackles and hangers. Will shims for a 60's to 70's ford bronco work?? I also need to find out the degree of angle needed to correct the problem so I can get the right shims.

I'll probably be wrong so hopefully someone will correct me.
I think you need to use a magnetic angle gauge to get the angle of the u-joint mounting flange of the slip yoke at the trans. Then use the angle gauge and get the angle of the u-joint mounting flange from the pinion at the diff. I think these numbers are supposed to be exactly opposite, ex; +3, -3. That way the harmonics cancel out. The vibration happens when the numbers aren't the same, ex +3,-5. After you get your angles, you'll need to get shims to make the numbers match. If you have +3 and -5, you'll need 2 degree shims to make the -5 change to -3. The shims go between your leafs springs and your diff to change the angle of the pinion. I hope this helps.
