i just looking around at prefabbed exhaust and i notice for the diesel, you can get y-pipe and full exhuast on behind rear passanger tire. 1988-1994 Ford F-250 Dynomax Exhaust System Ultra FLO Aluminum Aluminized Stainless Steel the routing has to be the same, but the y-pipe will almost be different. any on have any clue on how off the y-pip will be??

True dual exhaust that exits behind rear wheels.

Trying to fit a Diesel Y pipe might be a real pain seeing that the manifold layout is completely different then a gasser.

I've put thought of getting that exhaust system and getting as set of replacement shorty headers to bolt up to. Likely help alot since the exhaust is so restrictive on these trucks.

 

i was just curious. didnt know the layout of the diesel manifolds. thanks for link. it also just dawned on me that the diesel after market is 3" off the manifolds to a muffler with a 4" outlet. way to big for my stock gasser.

 

On a gasser 2.25 or 2.5 inch off the manifolds and 3 inch outlet is plenty. That diesel setup is too big.
