I need an exhaust hanger insulator

I'm missing one rubber insulator where there are normally two just before the axle. I went to my local dealer and the woman told me sixty some odd dollars "it comes with the hanger too" she says. I relpy with, "How about the rear, there's only one and the rubber pieces are the same?" "$127.00"

"Yeah, BYE!"

I went to Autozone and they have universal ones but they're smaller, may fit a car. Does anyone have a Ford part number for just the rubber insulator? I have an email in to Ed's dealership but haven't heard back yet. Figured someone here may have run into this as well. Thanks.

Yeah, I'm stopping by one on the way home but they're pretty lean on trucks.

Junk yard was a bust, the guy behind the counter needed one for his rollback.

I did find one at Carquest. $5.06 with my buddy discount. For MFG and part #, the receipt says GOE 8095 just incase someone searches the board for one in the future. It was a little different in shape, more oblong than pear shape but was the same size and fit perfect.

Check Rockauto

I don't know if these are exactly the same as the OEM, but it's worth a try for $3.85 each.

More Information for WALKER 35460

Jeff, this thread is 6 years old.

I'm pretty sure Bently bumped the thread with the pic in his post for informational purposes, for future searches, so the part number can be located.

Sorry about that, Chief (for Get Smart fans)

I just read Bently's post and didn't notice that the other posts were that old.
