Well here we are with a new month and it is the shortest one of the year. Love is in the air, the big game is coming up, the begining of the NASCAR season and the talk of one big **** winter storm that is getting ready to knock on our doors.

Looks like it is a great time to pull up a chair by the fire and spend some quality time on here with the FTE family

So here is the only request..... keep it clean and let the BS fling.

Mornin' Neil, Rick. Will the ground hog see its' shadow? If I was dragged out of my hole by a guy in a top hat, I'd want to go back in the hole myself.

I would rather be doing that then clearing the snow that they are forecasting for us. Now before anyone says anything, I like snow and the reason why I am not looking forward to moving this snow is due to my big snowblower is out of commission and I will be using my wimpy walk behind.

If we get nailed the way they are talking, I have a couple of aces up my sleeve and they have trucks with plows on them. If the walk behind can not thorw this stuff, I will make the call and have the blade dropped and let them have some fun.

I'm starting to look around for a plow truck for next year. Between son's and myself we've got 3 places to take care of.

I have two to take care of. My own and my parents who live right across the road.

Before I bought the snow blower for my cub, I was debating on putting a plow on the 150. It would have been nice to be able to plow out a hydrant or the ocassional driveway when we went out on a call during the middle of the night.

We've used my backhoe for snow removal a few times. But, in my comfort requirements I want to be in a warm, enclosed cab.
